MigAA: Summer

In summer 2012 the Migrating Art Academies (MigAA) project seeks for a creative atmosphere in Kassel in parallel to Documenta, which is one of the biggest and one of the most influential art exhibitions of the world. Art universities are invited to think of POT as a “Plan for Optimal Tactic,” which could be understood as an individual plan for whatever activities (or tactics) might be offered. From another side “Plan for Optimal Tactic” is wrapped around tactical media concepts referring to after the post-cold-war situations, and appearance of mobile gadgets and public Internet. Participants are invited to think of modelling possible situations of interdisciplinary knowledge, where economics, politics, art and education could unwrap. At the same time the offered individual concepts are awaited as critical and as sharp as possible in order to become a strong alternative to the “big event”.
